Easy to find. Easy to stop.

This page is not an address. It is here so you can turn in from the right lane, actually park, and know how long the queue will be.

Turning in

From town (northbound)

Coming from town, the shop is on your left just after the school. Slow down early — the entrance is a 6 m gap in the kerb, right after the pharmacy.

From the estates (southbound)

Coming from the estates you cannot cross the median. U-turn 400 m ahead, at the school, then come back — it will be on your left.

The sign is small, white and unlit. It is visible from about 80 m in both directions — after dark you have to be looking.

Parking

Plan of the frontageA plan seen from above: the shop sits behind an apron with three parking bays, the middle one a five-minute pickup bay. Motorbikes park along the left wall. The pharmacy is to the right and its entrance must never be blocked. The four-lane road has a median: the near lanes turn straight in, while the far lanes must U-turn at the school 400 m ahead.Soi behind — 40 m walkMotorbikes ~6The shop12 cm stepPharmacynever block1Pickup 5 min23Entrance, 6 mTurn straight in from this laneU-turn 400 m (at the school)

  • Usually full at 07:15–08:30 · around 12:15
  • If they are full, use Soi Nong Phai 3 behind the shop — a 40 m walk back, and there is always room.
  • Motorbikes go along the left wall — room for about six.
  • Never park across the pharmacy's entrance next door. It is their door, not ours.

When it is busy

During busy periods a drink may take 10–15 minutes, because one person makes everything.

Saturdays run 5–8 minutes all day, because there are two of us.

Restroom

  • One restroom, for customers.
  • Cleaned about four times a day.
  • Not wheelchair accessible — the door is 60 cm and the room does not turn.

The smoking area

5 seats · 2 tables

  • Indoors is 100% no smoking.
  • Smoking is allowed only in the side area, about 4 m from the door.
  • Please do not smoke within 3 m of the entrance.
  • Ashtrays are emptied roughly every hour; the floor is swept before opening and again after the morning peak.
  • Pets are welcome here only, on a lead.
  • When it is busy, please do not hold the seats long — there are only five.

Allowing smoking is not the same as letting the place get dirty.

People who come every day

  • Uncle Charoen, 61, rides over for a hot Americano and sits in the smoking area — and has never once flicked ash on the floor. *She keeps it this clean. I’d be embarrassed.*
  • Pim, a teacher at the school up the road, buys a Thai tea with less sugar before the afternoon club. She always says five minutes. It is usually fifteen.

These regulars are illustrative and fictional, like everything else here.
